October 2026 — Release pipeline and docs MCP
Releases publish again, the site changelog writes itself, and the documentation gets its own MCP server.
Releases publish to npm again, and every release now leaves a page here.
The release workflow had been failing since September: npm refused the OIDC
token for newtui because the package had no trusted publisher. The workflow
now matches the other WolfStar repositories, and the packages it publishes are
newtui, @newtui/nuxt and the new @newtui/mcp.
The site changelog follows releases
The release PR now writes a page in this changelog from the same changesets
that produce each package’s CHANGELOG.md and its GitHub release. You no
longer have to read the repository to find out what shipped.
@newtui/mcp
A new MCP server over this documentation. npx @newtui/mcp lets an agent list,
search and read these pages through their Markdown twins. It complements the
registry tools in newtui mcp, which answer questions about components rather
than the guides.
Removed: @newtui/react and @newtui/vue
The two wrapper packages that forwarded to newtui are gone. Neither was ever
published to npm, so nothing you install changes: npx newtui remains the one
CLI for React and Vue.
Also
- Dependencies are up to date, including Nuxt 4.6, React 19.3, Astro 7.3 and Blume 2.2.
- Renovate keeps them that way, and its dependency PRs carry their own changesets.
- The “early access” label is gone from the home page.
